Carmelo Anthony (knee) returns as Knicks take on Detroit

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (left knee) will play Monday versus the Detroit Pistons.

What It Means:

Anthony will return after a sore left knee kept him out the past two games. As a result, Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis won't be as busy on offense, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas will return to the second unit. Owners can get Melo active.

numberFire's models expect Anthony to play a reduced 25.6 minutes tonight, and we project him for 16.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 3-pointers versus Detroit.
