Goran Dragic battling foot injury for Heat

Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic is playing through a "nagging foot injury."

What It Means:

To reduce the pain in his foot, the Heat training staff have been cutting a hole in the side of Dragic's sneaker while he's playing. This injury likely explains his poor play recently, but with the Heat only 0.5 games up on the Chicago Bulls for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, it's unlikely that Dragic will be rested.

Over the last five games, Dragic is averaging 15.6 points on only 35.7 percent shooting from the field, in addition to 5.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.2 3-pointers per contest. For the season, his 4.3 nERD remains inside the NBA's top-50.
