Gordon Hayward misses Utah's morning shootaround
Utah Jazz guard/forward Gordon Hayward (bruised left quad) did not participate in Monday's morning shootaround and he remains questionable for Monday's matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.
X-rays were negative on Hayward's quad, but he's still probably going to want to test it out during pre-game warmups before confirming his status. They Jazz are only 1.0 game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers for the fourth playoff spot in the Western Conference, so it's going to take a lot to keep Hayward on the sidelines.
numberFire's models believe Hayward will play, and we project him to turn in 21.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 3-pointers in 34.4 minutes of action against the Pelicans.
