76ers being very cautious with Jahlil Okafor (knee)
Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor (knee) has said that the team is being "super cautious" with his health down the stretch in the regular season.
The 76ers are well out of playoff contention, and there's no reason for them to push the oft-injured Okafor and risk making things worse. He has missed the team's last two games, and it looks like he will probably miss some more time moving forward, giving Richaun Holmes and Shawn Long both bumps in playing time.
Okafor has had an underwhelming sophomore season, averaging 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks in 22.7 minutes per game. He ranks only 386th in the NBA with a -2.3 nERD on the year.
