Pelicans rule out DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) on Sunday, Dante Cunningham to start

New Orleans Pelicans forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets.

What It Means:

Cousins was questionable going into this one, so it doesn't come as a huge surprise that he's been ruled out. Dante Cunningham will draw the start at power forward, while Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday should both see increased workloads on the offensive end.

numberFire's models project Cunningham for 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 24.9 minutes of action as a starter tonight.
