Houston's James Harden lights up Pelicans on Friday
Houston Rockets guard James Harden scored 38 points during a 117-107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday with 17 assists, seven rebounds, one block, two steals and five 3-pointers.
Harden scored or assisted on 77 of the Rockets' points tonight in an unreal performance. He has eight 30-point games in the month of March alone and Harden is on pace to break Nate Archibald's record of scoring and assisting 56.8 points per game set in 1972-73.
Harden is averaging 29.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and a league-high 11.3 assists over 36.5 minutes per game. He has a .532 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 17.5 ranks first among all players this season.
