Lakers' Jordan Clarkson nails eight from downtown
Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson scored a career-high 33 points on 13-of-20 shooting with eight 3-pointers, five assists and two rebounds in 47 minutes in a 130-117 overtime win over the Minnesota Wolves on Friday.
Clarkson has been a rollercoaster with his shooting this season but he was challenged by head coach Luke Walton to impact the game in other ways and it appears that helped his confidence with his shot as well. Clarkson will look to have another big game Sunday against the Trail Blazers.
Clarkson is averaging 14.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals over 28.7 minutes per game. He has a career-best .503 effective field goal percentage, but his nERD of -6.7 ranks fourth-worst in the NBA this season.
