Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (left knee) will have surgery in the coming days.
What It Means:
This has been the expectation for a while now. Embiid will probably be held out of Summer League as he recovers from the small tear in his meniscus, but the 23-year-old big man should be ready to go by preseason. Richaun Holmes will continue to prosper.
Tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder, numberFire's models project Holmes to record 11.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks in 24.0 minutes.
