Nets say Jeremy Lin's ankle is still being looked at

Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin's ankle is still being evaluated, per head coach Kenny Atkinson.

What It Means:

Despite Atkinson's ambiguity, Lin is at high risk of being shut down for the rest of the season. He should officially be considered questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Spencer Dinwiddie -- fresh off a 18-point performance on Sunday night -- was announced as the Nets' starting point guard moving forward.

In 16 starts this season, Dinwiddie is averaging 8.3 points, 3.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 0.9 3-pointers per game at 45.7 percent shooting from the field (48.3 percent from deep). Lin is third on the Nets with a 0.2 nERD this season while Dinwiddie ranks ninth (-1.1 nERD).
