Bobby Portis scores a career-high 22 points for Bulls on Saturday
Chicago Bulls forward/center Bobby Portis scored a career-high 22 points off the bench against the Utah Jazz on Saturday, adding five rebounds and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.
Portis was terrible coming into this game and that's why he came off the bench after starting every other game this month. Portis' defense was non-existent in his recent games and he only scored 5.3 points per game in his previous three. He will continue to share minutes with Nikola Mirotic, as head coach Fred Hoiberg rides the hot hand. This will be a very annoying fantasy situation -- the Bulls have the most inconsistent rotation in the NBA right now.
There's no denying the data: Portis earned a team-leading 34.85 nERD in this game, and Mirotic bookended at the bottom with a -15.85 nERD, per numberFire Live.
