Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert blocked five shots in a 95-86 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, adding 13 points, 13 rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes.
The bad news is Gobert has made just 46.2 percent from the line, though. Gobert not having forward/center Derrick Favors (knee) around has been helpful for his stats because he is 5.4 percentage points better in True Shooting Rate without him, has a better rebounding rate, and a higher usage rate. Gobert should be a monster the rest of the way as the Jazz play for seeding.
Since missing a game due to a bruised leg, Gobert has been hot with averages of 14.0 points, 12.8 boards and 3.0 blocks. He earned 2.23 nERD on Saturday night.
