Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins (knee, ribs) plans to play Sunday against Minnesota
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (knee, ribs) has said that he expects to suit up for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Cousins was sidelined with the knee and rib issues on Friday, but the MRI on his knee came back negative, so it looks like he should be good to go. his return will send Dante Cunningham back to the bench, and cut into Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday's usage rates.
Assuming he does suit up tomorrow, our models project Cousins for 25.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks in 34.2 minutes of action.
