Magic slot Nikola Vucevic (ankle) into starting five on Friday
Orlando Magic forward/center Nikola Vucevic (ankle) will start against the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
On Thursday, he tweaked his left ankle when he tried to block a Steph Curry shot and landed on Curry's foot. Vucevic had some interesting comments after Thursday's game and said the Golden State Warriors "outsmarted" them, so maybe that is some added motivation to play today. He should get decent minutes tonight, but he'll be a shutdown candidate in a couple weeks as the Magic sprint to the bottom of the NBA barrel.
Our models project Vucevic for 15.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 30.2 minutes tonight.
