New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham is starting for forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (rib) on Friday.
What It Means:
Cousins is day-to-day and Cunningham is a low-usage player that's simply in there to space the floor. He can be ignored outside of the deepest of leagues. Coach Alvin Gentry hinted that Alexis Ajinca may see some minutes as well.
Cunningham is projected to soak up 29.8 minutes tonight by our models, but will likely score just 8.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists.
