Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving (knee) hopes not to miss any time
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving (knee tightness) will undergo treatment on his knee and has said that he is "hoping" that he will not be forced to miss any time.
Irving has been dealing with knee soreness for the past couple of days, and he made an early exit from Thursday's game when the knee tightened up on him. His status looks to be up in the air for this weekend, and if he misses any time then look for Deron Williams to move into the starting lineup in his place.
Irving is averaging a career-high 25.1 points to go with 5.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.4 3-pointers in 35.1 minutes per game this season. He ranks second among Cavs players and 21st in the NBA with a 6.7 nERD on the year.
