Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry headed to the locker room early with an ankle injury on Thursday as the Warriors blew out the Orlando Magic 122-92.
Curry originally hurt his ankle in the first quarter, and while he did return to the game, he left again mid-way through the fourth quarter, heading to the locker room. With the game being a blowout, the fact that he left early isn't a major concern. It's still worth keeping an eye on the news, especially when the Warriors have a back-to-back, as Golden State may be a little bit more cautious in resting him with the playoffs approaching.
Curry is averaging 25.0 points, 6.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 3.9 3-pointers in 33.6 minutes per game this season. He ranks second among Warriors players and 10th in the NBA with an 11.4 nERD on the year.
