Thunder's Russell Westbrook drops 34th triple-double
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook posted his 34th triple-double of the season Thursday, scoring 24 points with 10 rebounds, 16 assists, 1 steal and 4 three-pointers in just 28 minutes.
That's four consecutive triple-doubles, eight in his last 12, and it's also his third streak of four straight trip-dubs this season. He is now seven away from the season record of 41 triple-doubles, which seems to be well within his grasp given his high volume in that department lately. Additionally, Westbrook playing in every game is very impressive considering his NBA-high 42.0 usage percentage this season.
Westbrook delivered a 43.96 nERD tonight, per numberFire Live, by far the most of any player on tonight's six-game slate.
