Derrick Jones Jr. (tailbone) questionable for Suns on Friday
Phoenix Suns small forward Derrick Jones Jr. (tailbone) is questionable to play against the Orlando Magic on Friday.
What It Means:
He took a bad fall after a block and needed help off the court. Head coach Earl Watson did say Jones was "fine" after the game, so it's likely just a day-to-day thing. If he's out, we will see a ton of T.J. Warren while Jared Dudley could play more in small lineups. This is a fantasy situation to avoid beyond Warren.
We're skeptical Jones can go, projecting him for just 4.9 minutes on Friday. Warren comes in with a projected 29.3 minutes, in which we peg him for 13.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
