Suns shut down Eric Bledsoe (knee soreness) for the season

Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe (knee soreness) will be shut down for the remainder of the season.

What It Means:

The Suns have nothing left to play for this year, and have been looking to give their young players extended run anyway, so this isn't hugely surprising. Look for Tyler Ulis to remain in the starting lineup and see a big workload down the stretch.

Bledsoe averaged a career-high 21.1 points to go with 6.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 33.0 minutes per game this season. He ranks second among Suns players and 77th in the NBA with a 2.1 nERD.
