Bulls intend to use nine-man rotation for rest of season

Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said he'd like to use a nine-man rotation for the final month of the season.

What It Means:

"Obviously consistency with the rotation is something that we're going to strive for here the rest of the season," Hoiberg said. "I think you saw that in the game against Charlotte where we basically played nine." If Monday was any indication, this will mean more minutes for Nikola Mirotic and Rajon Rondo, but it could also knock Paul Zipser, Jerian Grant and Michael Carter-Williams all out of the rotation after they each received DNP-CDs.

The Bulls are currently 20th in numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings and our models believe they have a 45.9 percent of making the playoffs.
