Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Wesley Matthews was diagnosed with a mild right calf strain.
Matthews left Monday's contest just before halftime and was unable to return, finishing with two points in 18 minutes. He was in obvious pain and had a noticeable limp, but head coach Rick Carlisle described Matthews as day-to-day. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Washington Wizards.
Matthews is averaging 14.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.6 3-pointers per game this season. His -2.1 nERD is second-worst on the Mavericks.
