Vince Carter catches fire as Memphis beats Milwaukee

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Carter was a perfect 8-of-8 from the field, including 6-of-6 from 3-point range, finishing with a season-high 24 points in 30 minutes of action as the Grizzlies beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-93.

What It Means:

The makes Carter the first 40-year-old to ever make 6 3-pointers in a single game. It was a special performance out of him, but not something we should expect to see often, as he has still scored fewer than 10 points in 6 of his 9 games since the All-Star break and is averaging 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game on the season.

Carter's 55.6 nERD was the second-highest mark among all players on Monday's 8-game slate. He ranks 111th in the NBA and 5th among Grizzlies players with a 0.8 nERD on the season.
