Grizzlies may shut down Chandler Parsons (knee)
Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons (left knee) is reportedly at risk of being shut down for the remainder of the season.
Parsons will sit for the second time in three games on Monday due to soreness in his left knee. That's in addition to the month he missed earlier in the year with a bone bruise to the same knee. Fortunately, it's not the same knee that has required two surgeries in the past. It's been a brutal campaign for Parsons and his fantasy owners, to say the least.
Easily the worst year of his career, Parsons is averaging 6.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in only 19.9 minutes per game while shooting 33.8 percent from the field. Out of 474 NBA players, his -2.6 nERD is tied for 419th.
