Derrick Favors (knee) sidelined for Jazz versus Clippers
Utah Jazz forward/center Derrick Favors (left knee bone bruise) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Favors will be re-evaluated "later in the week," suggesting he's also likely to miss the upcoming back-to-back set on Wednesday and Thursday. With the playoffs starting this week in some leagues, owners may want to simply bid adieu on what has been a disappointing campaign for Favors. Joe Johnson benefits the most for Utah as a result.
Favors is averaging 9.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 24.1 minutes per game this season. His .511 true shooting percentage is a career-worst while his 0.6 nERD is sixth on the Jazz.
