Isaiah Whitehead

Nets' Isaiah Whitehead scores a career-high 24 points

Brooklyn Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead scored a career-high 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting in Friday's 105-96 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

What It Means:

Whitehead also connected three times from downtown in his best game as a pro. His three turnovers were the only blemish for the 22 year-old Brooklyn native, but as the year goes on Whitehead continues to impress. He is still pretty inconsistent, but he seems to have carved out a solid role even with the return of Jeremy Lin.

In his first NBA season, Whitehead is averaging 7.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 21.9 minutes per game. He has a .455 effective field goal percentage, but his nERD of -7.3 ranks him 2nd-worst in the NBA.
