Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams exploded during a 121-81 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday, grabbing a career-high 18 rebounds with 12 points, seven dimes, one steal and one turnover in 33 minutes.
What It Means:
Williams has been asked to play a larger role with the injuries in the Hornets' frontcourt, but he was possessed on Friday night. He matched a career high with seven assists as well and his defense has proven to be a force for the Hornets. He has a tough turnaround on Saturday against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans.
