Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons (rest) will not play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.
A curious move for the Grizzlies as they weren't even on a back-to-back. Parsons has played well offensively, as of late, but his defensive struggles have led to a bad slump for Memphis overall. Without Parsons, James Ennis is the favorite to start, but Tony Allen could also be re-inserted into the starting lineup on Thursday.
Parsons is averaging just 6.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while posting a -2.5 nERD rating, ranking him 416th out of 473 NBA players.
