Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki says he's open to playing for two more years

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki has said that he is open to the idea of playing for another two seasons.

What It Means:

Dirk has already said that he plans on playing next season -- the final year in his contract. The 38-year-old just became the sixth player in league history to record 30,000 points.

Age is starting to catch up with the future Hall-of-Famer, but Nowitzki is averaging 13.9 points and 6.7 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per game this season. He ranks 245th among 473 players with a -0.4 nERD on the year.
