Timberwolves' Brandon Rush (illness) out versus Clippers
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Brandon Rush (illness) will not play versus the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
Shabazz Muhammad will make his first start of the year as a result. Rush has been averaging 26.1 minutes over his past five contests, so Muhammad could be worth a look as a DFS punt play at his $3,600 price tag on FanDuel. He's also a streaming option for fantasy owners who need points as they make a late playoff push.
Without accounting for Rush's absence, numberFire's metrics project Muhammad for only 13.2 fantasy points in 17.8 minutes on FanDuel.
