Bulls making Rajon Rondo (ankle) a game-time call Wednesday

Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo (ankle) will be a game-time decision Wednesday versus the Orlando Magic.

What It Means:

Head coach Fred Hoiberg said Rondo is progressing, but he made it clear that the Bulls will take a conservative approach with his return. Jerian Grant, Cameron Payne and Michael Carter-Williams will all benefit if Rondo sits.

numberFire's metrics currently project Rondo for 4.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 19.1 minutes per game. His -4.1 nERD ranks 452nd this season out of 472 players, which is last on the Bulls.
