76ers' Ben Simmons receives 'minor foot procedure'
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons had a "minor foot procedure" to stimulate bone growth and accelerate healing.
The 76ers said Simmons will resume training by the end of the week. The first overall pick from the 2016 NBA Draft has already been ruled out for the rest of the season, but he should be ready for summer league play.
The 76ers are the third-worst team in the league, according to numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings.
