Russell Westbrook drops 40 points in a triple-double as Oklahoma City beats New Orleans
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook went 14-of-29 from the field on Sunday, racking up 41 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in 37 minutes of action as the Thunder beat the New Orleans Pelicans 118-110.
That marks Westbrook's 29th triple-double in 59 games this season. He is averaging a league-high 31.0 points, with 10.6 rebounds, 10.3 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.2 3-pointers in 34.7 minutes per game.
Westbrook finished second among Thunder players with a 17.6 nERD in Sunday's win, per numberFire Live. He also leads the team and ranks 12th in the NBA with an 8.7 nERD on the season.
