Willie Reed will sit out Monday for Miami
Miami Heat center Willie Reed (ankle) is day-to-day and will not play on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.
What It Means:
Without Reed on the court Hassan Whiteside could be looking at a modest increase in playing time coming off playing 37 minutes on Saturday. James Johnson could also be looking at an expanded role as the Heat's backup center while Reed is out. Both should be fine values on Monday against the Mavericks.
Our models project Whiteside for 15.8 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over 32.7 minutes against the Mavs.
