Bulls' Jimmy Butler posts first triple-double of year
Chicago Bulls small forward Jimmy Butler posted his first triple-double of the season on Saturday, scoring 18 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James (illness) did not play, but Butler also looks to be over his troublesome heel issue from earlier this month with 40.0 minutes per game in his last four. His fantasy owners can feel good about him being a first-round player in standard leagues.
Butler holds an 11.7 nERD -- the sixth-most value added to a team in the league this year. He's averaging about as many minutes per game as he has over the last four years, but holds career-highs in points (24.3), total rebounds (6.3), and assists (5.1) per game in 2016-17.
