New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis scored 39 points on Saturday, adding 14 rebounds, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in a 96-83 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
That's two blowout losses in the two games since DeMarcus Cousins arrived. Coach Alvin Gentry has done a decent job of staggering his two bigs with the pair on the court for only 44 minutes together in the two games -- Davis has played 72 total minutes and Cousins has played 67.
Davis's Usage Rating is second-best among the 17 centers to play an average of 30 minutes per game or more this season. His 7.9 nERD is 17th-best in the NBA.
