Chicago Bulls point guard Michael Carter-Williams (patellar tendinitis) is not with the team and will not play Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite starting on Friday night, MCW played just eight minutes. This injury may have been a reason for his lack of playing time and production. With MCW out, Cameron Payne -- making his Bulls debut -- and Denzel Valentine should see additional minutes.
Carter-Williams is averaging just 5.5 points and 2.7 assists over the Bulls' last six games, five of which he started. Prior to this ruling-out, our algorithms project MCW for 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 20.9 minutes on the court; this would've been good for 16.5 FanDuel points.
