Lou Williams excels in Rockets' debut

Houston Rockets guard Lou Williams went 9-of-16 from the field on Thursday, racking up 27 points with 2 assists and 7 3-pointers in 25 minutes off the bench as the Rockets blew out the New Orleans Pelicans 129-99.

What It Means:

Williams averaged 18.6 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.1 3-pointers per game in 58 games with the Los Angeles Lakers to start the season, and while we can't draw many conclusions off of one game, it looks like he's going to be a good fit in Houston.

Williams finished the win with a game-high 34.5 nERD, per numberFire Live. He ranks 24th out of 463 players with a 5.3 nERD on the season.
