Point guard Deron Williams plans on joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to the Associated Press.
What It Means:
Williams still has to clear waivers, but it's widely believed that the Cavaliers will be signing the former All-Star. He'll lose the majority of his fantasy value playing behind Kyrie Irving in Cleveland's backcourt.
Williams is averaging 13.1 points, 6.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 3-pointers per game this season while posting a -1.4 nERD rating, ranking him 349th out of 463 NBA players.
