Mavericks may buy out rest of Deron Williams' deal
Dallas Mavericks point guard Deron Williams is "possibly" receiving a buyout from the team, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com.
Williams isn't requesting a buyout, but the Mavericks are expected to make the move in order to open up more minutes for rookie Yogi Ferrell. More likely than not, Williams will wind up in a reserve role for a contender. Ferrell should be owned just about everywhere.
Williams is averaging 13.1 points, 6.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 3-pointers per game this season while posting a -1.4 nERD rating, ranking him 349th out of 463 NBA players.
