Enes Kanter (arm) may return Friday for the Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter said that his arm feels "pretty good", though he wouldn't reveal whether he may play on Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The original timeline for a return was 6-8 weeks after Kanter broke his forearm on January 26, so this would be well ahead of schedule for a return. Regardless of what happens Friday, it is an encouraging sign that he is feeling good, and it looks like he is unlikely to take the full eight weeks to return.
Kanter has averaged 14.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21.6 minutes per game this season. He currently ranks second among Thunder players and 27th in the NBA with a 2.7 nERD.
