Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio is still a "significant target" for the New York Knicks as Thursday afternoon's trade deadline approaches, per The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Wolves have also expressed some interest in Knicks' point guard Derrick Rose, so there's serious potential for a deal to get done that includes swapping the guards.
Rubio is averaging 8.3 points, 8.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 32.1 minutes per game this season. His -0.2 nERD ranks 206th among the league's 463 players this season and is tied for eighth among Wolves players.
