The Phoenix Suns are interested in acquiring New York Knicks forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas, per Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.
There doesn't seem to be anything imminent in the works, but Kuzminskas has shown flashes of promise in limited minutes this season. If the Suns were to acquire him and trade away P.J. Tucker as they are reportedly likely to do, Kuzminskas could see some significant playing time in Phoenix.
Kuzminskas is averaging 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 14.6 minutes per game this season. He ranks 349th out of 463 players with a -1.4 nERD.
