Chicago Bulls forward/center Taj Gibson has emerged as a potential trade target for the Oklahoma City Thunder, per ESPN's Marc Stein.
What It Means:
With the Bulls looking like a team that may be ready for a rebuild, trading the 31-year-old Gibson would make some sense. If Gibson does get moved, look for Bobby Portis to see his role increase significantly.
Gibson is averaging 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 27.3 minutes per game this season. His 0.3 nERD ranks 122nd out of the league's 463 players as well as fourth among Bulls players this season.
