Charlotte Hornets forward/center Miles Plumlee (calf) has a second degree strain, an MRI revealed, and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
With Cody Zeller (quad) also doubtful for Thursday against the Detroit Pistons, it looks like Frank Kaminsky is going to see heavy minutes at the five for a shallow Charlotte frontcourt. Kaminsky is worth owning in standard leagues as long as the opportunity is there.
Kaminsky is averaging 12.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 3-pointers per game in 11 starts this season. He's logging 31.3 minutes per game in such contests, but shooting only 37.9 percent from the floor.
