The Boston Celtics are reportedly not making forward Jae Crowder available in trade talks with the Chicago Bulls for guard/forward Jimmy Butler.
The Bulls are apparently resolute in requiring Crowder as part of a package if they're going to trade away Butler, per David Aldridge. This makes a deal look increasingly unlikely as Thursday's trade deadline approaches.
Crowder is averaging 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.5 minutes per game this season. He also ranks second among Celtics players and 50th in the NBA with a 3.1 nERD.
