Timberwolves' Shabazz Muhammad a trade target for the Wizards

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Washington Wizards have expressed interest in Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Shabazz Muhammad.

What It Means:

The Wizards have been actively trying to acquire some additional scoring for their second unit and missed out on Lou Williams. Now they turn their sights to Muhammad, who would provide a boost to their bench as a likely backup to Otto Porter at small forward. His already limited fantasy value would take a bit of hit in a move to Washington.

Muhammad is averaging 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers in 19.6 minutes per game this season while shooting 47.1 percent from the floor and 41.4 percent from three. His 0.0 nERD ranks 157th in the NBA and is fourth on the Timberwolves.
