Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley (groin) will play Thursday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, head coach Mike D'Antoni confirmed.
What It Means:
Beverley missed the final game before the break, but after a full practice on Tuesday, he should be good to go for Thursday's matchup with the Pelicans and their new frontcourt duo of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.
Beverley is tied for fourth on the Rockets and 74th in the NBA with a 2.0 nERD this season. He's averaging 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.7 3-pointers in 30.5 minutes per game.
