Suns expected to move P.J. Tucker before the trade deadline
The Phoenix Suns are expected to trade guard/forward P.J. Tucker before Thursday's trade deadline, per ESPN's Zach Lowe.
The Suns are reportedly listening to offers on most of their veteran players, so look for center Tyson Chandler and guard Brandon Knight to also possibly be moved. The Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics have all reportedly shown interest in Tucker recently. His departure would open up more playing time for T.J. Warren.
Tucker is averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 28.5 minutes per game this season. His -1.9 nERD ranks only 383th in the NBA and is 12th among Suns players.
