The Boston Celtics have reportedly expressed "deep interest" in acquiring Phoenix Suns guard/forward P.J. Tucker.
Tucker has been a name mentioned in a lot of rumors due to not fitting into the young Suns' long-term plans. He would provide immediate depth to any contending team he landed on, but would take a hit in fantasy value due to a likely reduction in minutes. He would become the seventh or eighth man in the Celtics' deep rotation.
Tucker is averaging 7.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 28.6 minutes per game for Phoenix. He owns a -1.9 nERD rating, ranking him 383rd out of 463 NBA players.
