The Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic have discussed a trade that would send guard Reggie Jackson to Orlando for point guard D.J. Augustin and guard/forward Jeff Green, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
This is one of what will likely be many Jackson trade rumors between now and next Thursday's deadline. The Pistons aren't contenders in the Eastern Conference, and with Ish Smith outplaying Jackson, it makes sense to see what they can get for him. Smith is worth an add in deeper formats.
Jackson is averaging 15.2 points, 5.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 3-pointers per game while shooting 42.8 percent from the field this season. His -1.0 nERD ranks outside of the top-300 players in the NBA.
